Ina, Max, Carina and several of their friends are homeless. Amidst the Covid pandemic, they have to sleep outdoors. Emergency shelters offer no perspective, they say. In the face of the cold, activists first try to squat municipal vacancies for homeless people. The police, however, immediately evicted them. Suddenly, a new opportunity arises and activists secretly open another vacancy. The homeless friends become squatters. For over a year, various people live in the clandestine squat as if on the ejector seat, always in fear of losing the stability that a home provides.
Footage and excerpts of the documentary produced by the collective "Freelance Underground" were also used in an online documentary by "STRG_F" - the young, online, reporter-driven format of public broadcaster NDR. The interviews and statements were also used for a TV report of "Panorama - die Reporter" that was broadcasted on February 7th, 9:15 PM CET on NDR.

Furthermore the documentary has been screened in off-locations across Germany in Berlin (ACUD Kino), Bremen (Infoladen Bremen), Dortmund (Rekorder II), Frankfurt am Main (ada_kantine), Hannover (Naturfreundehaus, Welfengarten), Hildesheim (Trillke Gut), Hamburg (Rote Flora), Karlsruhe (Cafe Noir) and Kiel.
