Pinocchio di Mastro Tarcisio
Summary
Tarcisio Pacini was a carpenter from Lucca. He made furniture out of wood for his whole life. When he was old, he wanted to make a special wooden Pinocchio like Geppetto's. He called it "Pinocchio di Mastro Tarcisio." He wanted to sell it all over the world. But then he died and his dream didn't come true.
Tarcisio Pacini - the skilled woodworker from Lucca - devoted his life to crafting exquisite chestnut furniture. Though his passion for wood extended until his passing in 2018 at the age of 87, he managed to construct a wooden Pinocchio, following in the footsteps of Geppetto himself. Dubbing it "Mastro Tarcisio's Pinocchio," he aimed to sell it to collectors worldwide, hoping it would become a valuable masterpiece of craftsmanship. Unfortunately, his legacy remains unrealized.
