Uncle Vasya (59). He has been living in Tikhvin from the birth. He has two daughters, a wife. His wife also lives in Tikhvin. Vasya has served in army, he was imprisoned for two years. He's a gas and arc welder. Vasya had good salary during gas producing in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area in the late 1990th, but he took the wrong vitamins and lost a half of his teeth. I often drive into areas of Russian province. Usually, it's Leningrad region that is around Saint-Petersburg. I see ordinary life around me and take pictures. It wasn't concieved as a project with a special conception, but, in general, these pictures can tell an integral story of simple life of Russian people. I think it is important to be recorded. The series is regularly updated.
