The Eternal Feminine
The eternal feminine is a psychological archetype or philosophical principle that idealizes an immutable concept of "woman"
Somewhere in the unconscious exist an unexpected fullness. Among many interpretations there is this:
"satisfying the flesh in the metaphysical longing of love"
Under a tragic-poetic concept :
The Chorus Mysticus ends the drama ( ACT V - Faust ) :
- "All that must disappearIs but a parable; What lay beyond us, here
All is made visible; Here deeds have understoodWords they were darkened by; Eternal Feminine draws us on high."
J.W. Goethe
