Sunday June 7th and I heard there was going to be another peaceful protest to mark the savage murder of George Floyd and to bring awareness of Black Lives Matter and the abuse Police perpetrate upon black, brown, indigenous people in the United States. I've covered a few protests and although I am moved beyond words by the power and support. I am less inspired as the days go on photographically. However, this protest march was going to be attended by the Compton Cowboys https://www.instagram.com/comptoncowboys/?hl=en and so with that in mind I just knew there would be some other subject matter to photograph. I set off on my trusty motorcycle from Santa Monica to Compton. This is what I saw...
