First Prize - Head On Photo Awards

The portrait of Amadou Sumaila, a young West African refugee rescued 20 nautical miles off the Lybian coast from a rubber boat with 118 people on board, will be exhibited at the Museum of Sydney until 9 July.
I hope this award serves to raise awareness of more and more people about the terrible situation that thousand of people are facing everyday in the different migratory routes around the world.
