I was born in Rome in 1982.
In 2006 I graduate in "Photography and visual arts" at the European Institute of Design in Rome and I start working as free lance photographer, focusing my work on social and cultural issues, with particular attention to human matters.
After few personal projects in South America, I shift my interest to South Africa where I went in 2012 to look into expressions of marginization and violence as consequences of the apartheid regime.
Right from the experience I lived in Cape Town flats areas, Borderland was born. An on going project that aims to explore, after more than 20 years from the historic revocation of the racial laws in South Africa, the problems of a community caused from its complex historical process.
My pictures have been published in magazines and website such as: IoDonna, LaRepubblica, Private, Vice, CNNphotoblog,
Currently I live between Rome and Cape Town to extend my research on social issues of national importance, result of the cultural and ethnic variety that characterizes South Africa.
