Lara Ciarabellini

I'm an Italian photographer based in Rio de Janeiro.

I believe photography can be a diachronic medium that explains current issues while analysing history. Throught my lens, I've been researching different approach to the aftermath of traumatic or/and significant events, and I've been exploring identities.

I graduated at London College of Communication, Master degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography.

"Red Poppy Fields" about the Great War was a collective tour exhibition at Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana, Vienna, Bratislava, Slupsk, Budapest, organized by SEDF, Bratislava; Mai Mano, House of Photography & Association of Hungarian Photographers, Budapest; Baltic Gallery of Contemporary Art, Slupsk; Photon, Ljubljana & Vienna.
