I'm a freelance documentary photographer, focusing on stories related to the effects of the nation-state system on people in Middle East.
I started in 2011 to work on issues to the fate of the Palestinian, with a focus on refugees.
Since 2014 I've been working on documenting subjects regarding the effects of the nation-state system on the kurdish people, and about the kurdish struggle for democratic modernity as a solution to these oppressions. The fate of kolbars seemed particularly important for me as their situation is condensing a lot of problematics impacting the kurdish people : the problems of nation-state's borders, internal colonisation and the violent repression and precarious economic situation that comes with it, denial of existence as Kurds and impossibility for democracy or autonomy...
