January 4, 2020- Chicago, Illinois, United States: Several hundred Chicagoans marched on the streets of Chicago calling for no war in Iran following the United States' Assassination of Ghasem Soleimani, an Iranian military figure operating in Iraq. At least two protestors were arrested when the protestors attempted to shut down a major thoroughfare in Chicago: Lake Shore Drive. The protestors were able to momentarily and partially shut down at least two south lanes of the LSD before the police pushed them back and the protest turned towards downtown and then ended, (Nima Taradji/Polaris)
