Rebecca Gaal is a photographer and creative strategist trained in public health and environmental science who helps organizations bridge the gap between human health and the environment. She crafts narratives and finds unique ways to blend art with information/data to share important messages with the world. Rebecca is a Fujifilm X Photographer, runs creative strategy at Tandem Stills and Motion, and is the Director of Partnerships and a member of the Board of Directors for the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network, a cutting-edge hospital and rehabilitation facility supporting local wildlife. She is also a member of Women Photograph and Her Wild Vision.

Gaal studied Social Innovation at the University of Cape Town, Environmental Science at the University of Oregon and received a BS in Public Health from American Public University. She also studied Painting at the Art Institute of San Francisco, completed a certificate program in Photojournalism at the Los Angeles Center of Photography and was an assistant to Nikon Master Vincent Versace.

Rebecca is focused on building relationships between individuals and companies to creatively address pressing issues through visual storytelling. When she is not on assignment, she is based in Ventura, California.
