Public Project
Corona-Norway
I have documented the everyday life of my own family when the restrictions were most stringent. My wife had to close her chiropractic clinic because of the Infection Protection Act, and she lost her source of income. Schools and kindergartens were closed and our family, along with many other Norwegian families, had to work from home. This resulted in a huge burden for toddler parents in general. I work on a fulltime basis as a health worker with people who are in the risk group. As a result of my job my wife had to take care of our children most of the time.
My aim with this documentary project was to explore how such significant changes in our lives affects the daily lives of toddler parents. As a photojournalist I was not allowed to visit other families because of the restrictions. I have therefore photographed my own family including myself.
