Summary
I am releasing my new book The Perennial Garden: 37 Dreams at the CPW Photobook + Zine Fair this weekend at 25 Dederick St, Kingston, NY.
For ten years, I frequently dreamt of the house and garden on Bloomfield Street, the setting of my childhood reverie. During this decade-long dreaming, I learned of its demolition to make way for new construction. This physical rift punctuated my felt inability to return to innocence, which echoed into my dream life. There the house and garden exist as an ever-changing palimpsest where, despite opposing forces, the magic of imagination lives on. The Perennial Garden: 37 Dreams is a collection of these dreams accompanied by a series of photographic collages and drawings.
Hand-bound artist's book produced by UMBILICUS, riso printed on French paper, 5 1/2" x 8 1/4" with 68 pages and 8 three-color illustrations, signed and numbered in an edition of 23 + 2 AP. It is available for purchase on my website if you are unable to make it to the fair!
