Just returned from a late-winter expedition around the Svalbard Archipelago with the M/S Freya. Astounding quality of light, sea ice and wildlife encounters. Here's my favorite shot of the trip, taken with a wide-angle lens - a curious walrus that surfaced about 2 meters in front of my face on a calm, wintery evening. Love the Arctic, love the sea ice.
