Anouchka Agbayissah (b.1994, Paris) is an artist and self-taught photographer based in Lomé (Togo), Cotonou (Bénin) and Paris (France). She is using the photographic medium to engage in dialogues and spark social changes. She focuses on stories surrounding identity, imperialism, social justice and culture.
Being multicultural allows her to understand multiple perspectives of the same reality. Her mission is to use her creative power to challenge the dominant narrative and provide a platform for the unseen and the unheard.
After graduating from Law and Business schools, she decided to pursue photography. She has been selected to be part of the 2022 Women photograph mentorship class.
