Dan Agostini is graduated in Photography and specialized in Photography as a contemporary art by Senac. Currently, develops documentary projects and teaches in the fields of photojournalism and projects in the city of São Paulo, Brazil.
In your work, photography is used mainly as a tool for expression and reflection to construction of narratives related to gender issues in countries through Asia, the Middle East, and Brazil.
Dan was finalists for the PoyLatam in 2017. In 2018 was also selected in the collective exhibitions Cofluir Photography Festival and YVY women of the image at the Tiradentes Photography Festival, in Brazil. In 2019 Dan was selected at the workshop Women Photograph in Quito, participated in the collective exhibition at Tiradentes Photography Festival and exhibited the documentary Funk de Mina, produced by the Doroteia Collective, at Sesc in Brazil. In 2020 Dan was selected by the emergency fund for journalists, by National Geographic, participated in the collective exhibition “Qué nos urge?” in Argentina, Mídia Ninja in Brazil, and was selected in the Arts announcement, Funarte/BR.
