In Limoncito, a small town located in the Bolivian Amazon, the Lira family, composed of a mother and three daughters, promote the creation of a group of women weavers in defense of the Women’s Law. Their daily life is tied together; along with daughters, granddaughters and nieces they have overcome their own stories of gender violence. They find in weaving a form of healing, a collective encounter with other communities; a braid woven from strength, family and the knowledge transmitted through generations in their territory.
