Alessandro (b.1988) is a freelance documentary photographer with SIPApress USA, focusing his personal projects to the analysis of thematics evolving around the concept of sustainable development and to cover underreported stories. He combines extensive period of travelling ( Kenya, Somalia, South-Sudan, Lebanon, Indonesia, Zambia and Tanzania ) with shooting editorials and commercial works in his own country, Italy, where he lives in the city of Milano. Alessandro accomplished a BA degree in Industrial Design at the Polytechnic University of Milano in 2010, while growing his interest for the photographic medium at the Jhon Kaverdash Academy. In 2011, he earned a MA degree in Photojournalism at the University of Westminster of London with a major project about the concept of neocolonialism in the new emerging economies. Soon after his studies he got selected for an intership at NOOR photo-agency in Amsterdam and between 2011 and 2012 he has been Assistant Lecturer at the Design Faculty of the Polytechnic of Milano. Between 2013 and 2014 he was distributed by LUZphoto-agency.
