In November 2011 I found myself close to the flooded zones of Le Cinque Terre, Liguria - Italy.
It is the place where I spent the majority of my summerbreaks during my chilhood, so I decided to join volunteers from all over Italy to clean up the mud. As Always, I had a camera in the bag I was carrying with me...

The Unesco heritage was flooded by the excess of heavy and unordinary rains. Monterosso, Vernazza and Val di Vara were the most damaged areas. Thanks to financial subsidies from the central government and private founds the area managed to rebuilt itself. The 2013 season, for both toursim and agriculture, is leading normality back to life.
