Alexia is a photographer, writer and anthropologist with a PhD from UCL. She has worked in journalism, media production and academia, and has lived in the UK, Greece, and Sierra Leone.
She is currently the senior audio-visual content journalist at Scope, a division of Netcompany-Intrasoft.
Her written and photographic work has appeared in literature journals, travel blogs and magazines such as Makeshift, Huck, Think Africa Press, Addis Rumble, Rear Curtain, and Irin. She has worked with Discovery Channel (UK) as managing editor at Makeshift Magazine (USA) and as producer in several television documentary programmes in Greece.
