Graduating from Altos de Chavon School of Design in 2003, she worked as a designer and later developed into a photographer. As an artist, she strives to create exceptional images. Alicia has worked assisting National Geographic photographers like David Allan Harvey, Kenneth Garrett, Sebastian Belaustegui, and many others in photographic workshops produced by Santa Fe Workshops, National Geographic Expeditions as well as her own production company in locations like Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Her goal is to bring the work and knowledge of her mentors to the Caribbean public, who would otherwise not have that opportunity.

She collaborated with a Photographic Gallery in San Juan, Gallery PL900 of Casa Aboy in Puerto Rico as Curator. In addition to working as a full-time documentary photographer, Alicia is a certified expert by Adobe in Photoshop Lightroom, she produces and teaches workshops for professionals, students, and amateurs, helping them achieve a more efficient workflow.

As a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (wpja), Alicia tries to break the rules of classic wedding photography, by bringing her documentary style to clients who look for a different experience.

Aside from her duties in wedding and documentary photography, Kidd's ultimate goal is to able to share her personal projects to a wide audience and exhibit her work as well as her colleagues.
