Povoado da Estiva, rural zone of Bahia, in between Vitória da Conquista and Barra do Choça, back in time known as Sertão da Ressaca, it was a resting places for tropeiros (explorers) during 19th century. At the time, became an important connection for commerce, and traveling salesmen. Although its original population was far different from the indigenous tribes as Ymboré, Kamakã e Pataxó that used to live there. Nowadays, this place is grounded on my history as part of my own roots, where I still can connect with my relatives and my essences. One of many who tried their luck in the southern that or ended up back or never really leaving its culture and foundation behind.
