Floods in Bangladesh
In Bangladesh flood has become a common phenomenon, a natural calamity which over the years has only worsened by the effects of global climate change. Scores of poverty-stricken village dwellers become homeless every time the flood prone regions are hit by the nature's curse. Hit and devastated, these people struggle to find solace living on the edges of losing their livelihood by a sudden change in the climate and fighting it over to survive. The flood hit victims suffer from health and sanitation almost always as the river water that overrides the villages mix with many types of wastes. Nutrition is far beyond their conception as the circumstances they live in hardly allow them the meal for once in a day.
