My last assignment of the year was to photograph and interview people in Seattle and Portland to find out what it is like to be homeless at Christmas.  The Guardian US is one of the only publications giving homelessness the media coverage it deserves through their ongoing series "Outside in America".  If you are a photographer doing stories about the homeless, you can pitch to their homelessness editor Alastair Gee.
