When I met Michelle Vestal and Bob J. Kitcheon, I thought their wedding deserved to be featured in the New York Times Vows, a section usually reserved for couples with money and college degrees.  After pitching the story to one of the Sunday Styles editors, the writer Candice Pires and I got the story commissioned.  Happy to share their story here.
