Born in Omsk, Russia, 1978. Studied philology and classical music, in 2006 switched his focus to photography and started to work as photoeditor and photojournalist for local newspaper (Khanty-Mansiysk, Siberia). As photographer interested in creating personal stories with strange cinematographic atmosphere, keen on how the story could be told via photobook. Deeply involved in photobook design, story sequence and editing. Participated in workshops of Pieter ten Hoopen and Gert Jochems from Agence VU, studied long term courses at School of Visual Arts of Natalia Udartseva, Moscow. Collaborated with the Center of Documentary Studies "Rodina School" by Igor Starkov, was lecturer on photography at the college. In 2014 published two photobooks with his own projects - "Waiting for Rain" and "Dark as the Night, so is the day". Now living, shooting film and working on new books in Moscow, Russia.
