/"My exhibit “Loom|Father|Requiem” was shown at the Central Museum of Textiles in Poland (Åódź) and the Eretz Israel Museum in Israel (Tel Aviv). In this exhibit, I integrate into my art the memories of my Jewish family, which had its roots in Åódź and its textile industry. My grandfather Moshe Halpern was a weaver of fabrics for corsets. My father Avraham Halpern was a weaver of Jacquard textiles. I am Roni Halpern Ben Ari, a weaver of memories from the loom’s DNA."
Roni Ben Ari is an internationally acclaimed photographer and multimedia artist. Her story will appear in STILL LIFE IN LODZ's movie by Slawomir Grünberg
The film screening during the "Man in Danger" festival on November 19 at 3:30 pm at the Art Factory in Lodz. November 20 at 6 pm ceremonial premiere at the Dialogue Center in Åódź. On November 21 at 6 pm at the film screening in Åask.
