The Kenai Fjords are a wildlife photographer’s dream. The female Steller Sea Lion pictured here was majestically positioned on the rocks, flanked along the ridgeline by seagulls. The symmetry caught my eye, and I was mesmerized once again by the patterns in nature. As a photographer who delves between wildlife conservation and documentary, I find myself always looking for natural patterns to photograph.
