Teresa Aguisanca lives in Chiquiribamba, one of the most prosperous parishes in the region for its agricultural potential in the production of vegetables and medicinal plants. She is 85 years old and is one of the many women in the world who cultivates her garden as an ancient custom that has survived the developmental practices of the time. She grows fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants that support her home.
