I was born and raised in a small town in East Texas. I found photography in high school after a teacher gave me an old camera to help spark my creativity. I has had a camera in his hand ever since. I attended Savannah College of Art and Design where I studied documentary photography. I have spend the past several years working as a photojournalist and ranch hand to pay for my personal work. I have dedicated most of my time documenting everyday life in Texas as well as my family's journey raising my youngest brother who suffers from Autism, Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy. My goal as a photographer is to document people and their stories to give others a glimpse into a world they normally wouldn’t be able to see, and to tell these stories in an empowering way to give them a voice they might not otherwise have in order to bring awareness and understanding.
