Artist in residence: Pustovňa pre umenie

For me, a residency always opens possibilities to engage with an often previously unknown place or context with openness. Since the Hermitage seeks both to introduce new artistic influences and to cultivate a creative dialogue with the region, this is precisely how I approached my stay - by engaging with local interpretations of space and meaning, also through holding two public presentations of my practice and residency work in progress.
