It was special to be back on Halsnøy, Norway, for the opening of Perpetual Habitat, our artist residency exhibition at Halsnøy Kloster, Sunnhordland Museum. Last summer, Martin Venezky, Camille Guichard, and I had the privilege to join the museum’s annual residency programme: the group exhibition showcases the result of our time living and working on this unique island. I premiered my audiovisual project - a collaborative exploration of islanders’ profound connection to water - which gave name to our exhibition. Perpetual Habitat is on view until 1 June.
