A model wears a creation by Haitian designer Mackenley Darius during a voodoo fashion show in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021. I created Ayida collection to promote the arts of voodoo that is very important in the Haitian culture. Ayida Collection is a fashion collection and a design company that was created in August 2017 by Mackenley, a former student of the National School of the Arts, with friends painters and designers. It is a way to promote the culture of the country, especially voodoo, says the native of Port-au-Prince Mackenley, 28 years old. Focus on the hidden face of voodoo, to show the visual representation of the well known Lwa (spirits). Mannequin line up with clothes, caps, flags and t-shirt with vèvè which is inspired by 21 nations of voodoo spirits. ( Photo/ Dieu Nalio Chery)
