SILVER: Stories that shine a light on the wisdom and wildness of old women. By Irene van Nispen-Kress

Irene and I met in Berlin when she came on board for my Erotic Eye workshop. It was clear she had a fierce longing to be with people who didn't fit in the box. This book is an achievement She kept looking for people who had unusual stories to tell and she became their conduit.
I love her photographs. It's great to see women still flaunting their spunky style, proving that many women never grow too old to howl at the waning of the moon.
With SILVER, van Nispen-Kress honors women over sixty, an age when they are often forgotten, or ignored. Ironically, old age comes as a blessing for the house of women. It is a time when they have the most to offer ( stamina, curiosity, and courage), and, they don't need a man's approval to feel worthy of love. They won't 'suffer the fools' who want to bring them down.
The powerful images and stories in SILVER illustrate why the passage of time can be a woman's greatest asset.
This book is a treasure. Let it carry you away and send you rocking on your toes because SILVER is better than gold.
