Em Burris

My name is Em Burris and I am a photo editor and photojournalist based in the Orlando area. I enjoy conceptual documentary work that explores themes surrounding gender, sexuality, and mental health. As someone who identifies outside the gender binary, my passion is to serve the queer community through visual production and management. As an editor, I aim to pull from a diverse pool of photographers and amplify their work. I believe activism can be employed through visual storytelling and generate social change.
