Work in progress: Final Project

I talked to my aunt who is very active on the land, and she said she'd love to be interviewed. She said most of the harvesting is done already, but there may be something that comes up she and my uncle have to do on the farm while I'm there, and I'm free to photograph that.
I plan on interviewing my dad, my grandpa, my aunt and uncle, another uncle and my dad's cousin. I am going to photograph meaningful places on the land, as well as what my family is doing there now. I am also going to dig up old family photographs to add context to the ones I make. We've been talking a little about photo books in class, and I think that is what I want to make with my final materials. Interleaving photos of moments, farming, portraits and landscapes with family photos and interview quotes (maybe handwritten or photo-elicitation).
