Born in France in 1977, after her classical studies between Turin and Paris and the first encounter with photography, she attended the faculty of Literature and Philosophy at the University of Seville and Turin, where she graduated in Visual Anthropology, with a research thesis on the life of indigenous people in Mato Grosso.
In 2001, she did an internship at Magnum Photos in Paris and one at Vu agency as photo-editor for the international press, working on the book Open Wound: Chechnya 1994-2003 (Stanley Green for Trolley Books). Back in Italy, she founded one of the first groups of young photographers: "Donquixoteâ€.
After years working as a photographer, she currently lives between Milan and Barcelona, where she works as a freelance photojournalist.
Her work is published on various magazines, such as "INTERNAZIONALEâ€, "LA STAMPAâ€,"REPUBBLICAâ€, "L'EUROPEOâ€, "IL FATTO QUOTIDIANO", "Publico", "LA VANGUARDIA", "GEOâ€, "DIE ZEIT", "NEW YORK MAGAZINE", "THE GUARDIAN" and "EL PAIS".
