Marakames (priests) of the Wixárika people made a visit and ritual of passage in the place called Makwipa (Cerro del Padre) where, as every year, they give thanks for the favors received from the earth and nature during this year. This is done as part of the preparation of the caravan that makes a pilgrimage to the Wirikuta (Real de Catorce) every year and which is one of the most sacred places for this original people.
