(Musician circle L-R) Alvie Dooms, David Scrivner, Jeremy Myers, Tom Berthold and Glen Dale Robertson (not pictured: Gordon McCann, Toni Giardina, Steve Assenmacher) play music for the crowd of family and friends that's gathered at the Monday night McClurg Jam session in McClurg, MO on April 26, 2021. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the weekly jam sessions that were typically held inside the old McClurg general store had been put on hold. Wiith the recent return of warm weather, they have started them up again outside in an open barn adjacent to the store. This is one of the few places where Old time Ozarks music passed down by ear can be heard. As legend Alvie Dooms listens to the music he said, "There's a lot of good musicians in these hills if you can just get 'em out."

Family and friends watch the Yellville vs Flippin high school baseball game at the city park ball field in Yellville, Arkansas on Saturday evening, April 24, 2021. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 season was cancelled after only a few games were played, but this spring, both the Yellville and Flippin teams were able to play a full schedule of 16+ games. The final score for this game between rival towns was Flippin 14, Yellville 7.
