Born and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel
1984: BFA degree (with honors) at the “Bezalel Art Academy” in Jerusalem.
1984 Group show in Paris, “Young Creatives”, curated by Francois Hebel,
showing self portraits as an israeli soldier in a real time war in Lebanon.
1985 moved to NYC.
1985: First award in portraiture by APA
