Barcelona 1978
I live in Barcelona and I have been working as a photographer and teacher since 2003. I graduated in Biology and studied Anthropology for two years. 
My images have been published in various media such as El Paí­s Semanal, Papel (El Mundo), Burn Magazine or Lonely Planet.
I have been selected for several festivals like Trafic’08 and ’09 ( in the context of new values of documentary photography), SevillaFoto'09, the Sixth Biennial Xavier Miserachs, International Photography Festival of Valparaí­so'12, Paraty em Foco’14, Voies Off’14, Forum Fotografic Can Basté’14, Month of Photography in Minsk’14, Fine Art Igualada’15, Pa-ta-ta Festival’15, Ankor PhotoFestival’15, Encontros Da Imagem'16 or Fotoistambul'16. 
I have taken part in numerous collective exhibitions and individual exhibition in cites like Barcelona, Madrid, Murcia, Vitoria, Granada, Valencia, Bilbao, Arles, Toulousse, Valparaiso, Quito, La Paz or Paraty. 
The projects "Sikhs" and "Yak42" were finalists for the prize awarded by the International Festival of Photography and Journalism of Gijón. 
In 2011 I recived a scholarship from El Invernadero, which won a prize for the work "Dioses de Alquitrán”. 
With "Desde la Isla cuántica” I won the FNAC New Talent, the Discovery Award SAIF in Voies Off (Arles), the Aqaba Media Grant and the Seminario de Ftografí­a y Periodismo de Albarrací­n Profesional Grant. Also I was finalist in Golden Camera Award, Nexofoto Award, and Encontros da Imagem Award and had a Honorable Mention in the Festival Internacional de Fotografia de Cabo Verde.
