Giorgio Morra (b. 1988) is a German Italian photojournalist, photo-essayist and portrait photographer. He studied photography and media at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. For his stories he traveled to different nations in Europe and Asia, focusing on people, documenting their routines and values.
For his current project he went to Bosnia an Herzegovina, Serbia and Greece to work about the European refugee policy and its effects. He exhibited in Berlin, Essen, Frankfurt and Poland. In Italy, he has participated in the Savigniano Immagini Festival of Photography.
His stories are published in a variety of media such as Die ZEIT, fluter, SPIEGEL Online, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Tagesanzeiger/Das Magazin.
Morra is based in Cologne/Germany as freelance photographer.
