Don't Move Again is an ongoing series of formal portraits made with an 8x10 analogue camera in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The project started in 2009 as part of the Ghetto Biennale and continued from there. Along with Haitian citizens from all walks of life, I'm photographing various communities and locations in the city tied to reconstruction and development; volunteers, missionaries, NGO employees, United Nations staff, business investors. The collected images build upon each other to form a portrait of the city, updating August Sander's People Of The 20th Century for the age of globalization.
