I am a photographer and filmmaker currently based in Asheville, NC specializing in editorial, documentary, and commercial work. My concentrations include environmental activism, NGO work, and social issues surrounding western narratives. Having earned my Bachelor's in both Cinematic Arts and Cultural Anthropology, I regularly combine these fields while on assignments both stateside and internationally. Connecting with local communities and pursuing truthful stories, I endeavor to use my camera as a way to connect the viewer to the heart of my subjects.

Challenging narratives and working toward a corrected view of how our society was built is of the utmost importance. Therefore, the documentary stories I seek to pursue explore the challenges faced by communities resulting from a long history of systemic oppression and controlled narratives. The goal is to review not only the issues facing these communities in the present but to pinpoint the historical bases that have resulted in the current condition in order to better understand and formulate a solution for these issues today.

Exploring the human condition and our relationship with the world around us I also regularly work on my own personal, creative projects as a means to pursue what I feel are underrepresented stories worthy of spotlight. Also part of my creative practice is in expressing the unseen feelings and themes connected to mental health; the goal being to uplift those fighting for stability and provide a safe space to talk about and express the issues surrounding it.
