Born in Denmark, 1978

I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. Influenced and inspired by heavy weight photographers like Jeff Wall, René Burri, Sally Mann, Kevin Carter amongst others, it took me a lot of time and courage to pick up the camera myself and shoot. Following in the footsteps of people that have captured critical historical moments, created momentarily vacuums of bliss and horror, is not something I take lightly. Everyday I wake up, feeling humble and blessed that I get to work in the field of photography.

I am constantly trying to get better, get closer and finding new stories to capture. I live in Copenhagen, Denmark, but my base is all over the world.
