I've been lucky enough to have met a lot of interesting people in my life.  I've known wonderful characters in the New York film business on both sides of the camera and have travelled the world to meet the great people in other countries adding to my list.  Still the most memorable person I've known lived here in Lyme, CT: the woodsman, Amos Congdon, who has meant more to me than the presidents and their wives, the athletes and their coaches, or movies stars I might have met.
