The online newspaper VICE in the Netherlands has published my report on the refugee situation in the Bialowieza Forest. The recent elections in Poland have opened a door of hope, but there is a risk that this change will not have a significant impact on Poland's migration policy. The border region with Belarus is experiencing increasing militarization, and anti-migration discourse remains deeply rooted in a significant portion of the population.
