The origins of this series flow from microagressions. As I sought to understand the events of 2020--both world wide and in my own life--I found words to express my own experience with Blackness and asked others to express theirs. This Juneteenth series is a reclamation of joy and a multifaceted expression of pride and freedom in our Blackness.
