While the World prepared to watched the 2016 summer Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, residents of the Vila Autodromo favela where being evicted from their homes.
Starting in 2014 more than 500 families were forcibly removed from their land by city workers to open the grounds for a parking lot just a few hundred meters away from the olympic village in Jacarepagua.
In 2016 just weeks before the Games started, only about a dozen families were able to fight in the courts for their rights to stay in their homes (most of them destroyed already) and the mayor was forced to give them back their homes.
This body of work is a portrait of a destroyed community now dispersed trough the city of Rio de Janeiro.
