This is a series of images I made over a year while taking vacation days from my job at a daily newspaper in Indiana to document the election, which turned out to be the rise of Trump, and the aftermath. I began this project while photographing Trump during a rally in Indianapolis, then I photographed the Indiana primary. Later in the summer I covered both political conventions. There was a KKK rally in Madison, Indiana, and the klansmen were Trump supporters. In November I photographed a protests after Trump's win, and then in January his inauguration. Then another Trump rally, and some rallies by Trump supporters, and some extremist groups. I'll add captions to the images later.
